Caitlin ~ fall is in the air. The days are growing shorter and the nights cooler. We have so many sunflowers in the yard. I can’t even count them. Looking at them I think of you, and your love of autumn. In less than two months it will be 4 years since you passed. Autumn is harder than any other time – a time when beautiful things die and return to the earth. A time when my beautiful daughter died and returned to the source. You would love the yard right now – even though you were a winter baby it’s the sunflowers that radiate your beautiful spirit. Miss you like crazy my sweet girl.

Shilo, that is so beautiful and so sweet, wistful, but no longer bitter.
I’m glad.
